"The cupboard is empty. That is where the mess can go!"
A boy's room is very messy, so he had been told "Clean a room!" by his mum. Then the cupboard in his room was empty, so he put all his things in it. But as soon as had he tried to get the broom out of it, all the things, which he put in it, went out! That was NOT a good idea...
My room is so messy, too. So I can understand why he did that, and if I were him, I would do the same way...
